Scurf

scurf \SKURF\, noun:

1. The scales or small shreds of epidermis that are continually exfoliated from the skin.
2. Any scaly matter or incrustation on a surface.

Francine loves working at The Body Shop. Looking at her, no one can guess that she was the same Francine Koepke from St.Francis Xavier University, class of ’96. Back then, she had pale, dry skin that cracked and peeled around the corners of her mouth and nostrils. This, combined with her bushy red hair, lowered Francine’s self-esteem.

Then one day, she met a girl named Katy-Lynn (her actual name), who introduced Francine to the world of exfoliating scrubs, moisturizers and body mists. A new Francine was born. She is sexy and scurf-free, and sells nice-smelling products.
