Divigate

di·va·gate [dahy-vuh-geyt]  Show IPA
–verb (used without object), -gat·ed, -gat·ing.

1.to wander; stray.
2.to digress in speech.

I divigate quite often in my speech. I am what you would call a circuitous speaker, thinking out loud during thoughtful discussions with others in a roundabout way until the circle grows smaller and smaller around what I am trying to say. Then, suddenly, I come right out and say it, the main point: I divigate.
